The role of Palestinian universities in educating university students about the harmful effects of drugs from the point of view of faculty members "Palestine Technical University Khadouri model"

Abstract

The study aimed to identify the role of the University of Palestine Technical "Khadouri" in educating university students about the effects of drugs from the point of view of faculty members. To achieve the objectives of the study, the researchers developed a questionnaire consisting of (25) paragraphs. A random sample  consisted of (104) faculty members was selected. After the collection of the study data was statistically treated using the SPSS program. The result indicated that the degree of the role of the Technical University of Palestine "Khasouri" in educating university students about the effect of drugs from the point of view of the faculty members was high. The results showed no statistically significant differences at (α≤ 0.05) in the role of the Technical University of Palestine "Khadouri" in educating university students about the damage of drugs from the point of view of the faculty members due to gender and college variables. While differences were statistically significant in the academic grade variable and in favor of the higher academic faculty member.

In light of the results of the study, the researchers recommended a set of recommendations.
