The effect of Islamic Waqf on education in Palestine from the periodof Omari domination until our current time

Abstract

     This research deals with the impact of the Islamic endowment in Palestine. In the sustainability of education from the ancient Alaumary conquest of Palestine to our contemporary time. The endowment was a main factor in finding educational centers to stimulate the process of education and encouraging people to do so. And the educational endowment and the statement of evidence  besides the evidence of its existence.

      And leads to determining the impact of education in Palestine; since the Islamic conquest of Jerusalem by Omar Ibn Alkhtab the caliph , till now.

    The research concluded with a set of results. The endowment was a main pillar of advancing the educational process in Palestine through the Islamic history.  Also the endowment was a real guarantee to meet the needs of both teachers and learners .Also it contributed the existence of educational security in the Islamic  community.                       The research reached a set of recommendations. The most notably was the necessity to revive and activate the Islamic endowment and directing it to support education in Palestine , especially post graduate studies encouraging the need to address and solve problems which led to the decline of the endowment and its retreat in Palestine.
