The Usage of Educational Aids in Religious Education

Abstract

This paper aims to study various important issues concerning the usage of educational aids in religious education. It highlights their pros and cons, justifies the noticed decline in quality of the religious education nowadays despite the increased usage of educational aids in comparison with past times, clarifies the obstacles and challenges hindering the usage of educational aids in religious education, and finally, suggests some guidelines to using educational aids in religious education.  The paper follows a descriptive and analytical methodology after exploring some studies about using aids in education in general, and in religious education in particular. The paper concludes with some results and recommendations, especially in prescribing the obstacles hindering the usage of educational aids in religious education in comparison with other fields of education.
