Abstract

The reader of Yusuf al-Muhaimid’s novels can easily note that the writer aims to differ in the values that he deals within the construction of his novels, between religious, social and political values. Alqarurah’s novel tells a social story in the first place. Ali Adahal , a soldier, who misleads a beautiful girl "Munira" by accusing her that he is in love with her and then he asks her family to​ marry the girl and hides that he is married​ and supports a family. The girl and her family discover his deception in the wedding’s night and they find out that he did so only to retaliate her and her brother, "Saleh," the officer who is the leader of Ali at the work, and who is absent for training mission in London during the novel’s events.

   This story is a social value in itself, along with some other social values ​​that the author approaches, as well as a number of religious values, such as the story of the old woman who is punished by God when the grave refuses her body when she was died because of her work in magic. The novel also includes serval political values of which is his portrayal of   Saddam Hussein’s occupation to Kuwait in 1990 and the subsequent bombing of some sites in the Arabian Peninsula. This wealth of values ​​represents a beautiful vale in this novel, which was pushed me to study it in order to achieve an appropriate scientific result
