Abstract

The current research aims to identify the creative thinking skills of administrative leaders and their role in featured performance through field testing of the opinions of a sample of administrative leaders in a number of colleges of the University of Duhok. The study relied on developing a questionnaire consisting of (32) items for the purpose of measuring dimensions and variables according to the five-dimensional Likert scale. As a mechanism to achieve this study for its objectives, two basic hypotheses were formulated according to which there is a correlation relationship and the moral impact of the independent variable Creative thinking skills (collectively and individually) in the depend  variable, the featured performance. The questionnaire form was distributed to the individual respondents, whose number is (45), from which (43) were returned, all of which were valid for analysis. And by using statistical methods using the (SPSS) program, a number of results were reached, the most prominent of which are:

1-   The results of the descriptive analysis indicated that the respondents ’answers were in  agreement on the availability of indicators of creative thinking skills and featured performance in the research faculties.

2-       The existence of a correlation and a moral impact for the creative thinking skills (collectively and individually) in the featured performance, with the exception of the skill of feeling problems that did not have a correlation and a significant impact on the featured   performance.

  In light of the results of the study, a number of proposals were submitted, the most prominent of which are:

3-       The need for the researched colleges to focus on developing and developing the creative thinking skills available to their administrative leaders, in order to reach high levels that enable them to face administrative and organizational problems.

4-           The necessity of bringing indicators of feeling the problems, because they obtain the lowest level of agreement among the answers of the respondents in the colleges.
