The Impact of Total Quality Management on Administrative Development

Abstract

   The aim of the research is to know the impact of Total Quality Management in its three dimensions (commitment and support of senior management, continuous improvement, training and qualification of employees) on the variable of administrative development, as the research community included employees of the General Company for Electrical and Electronic Industries in Baghdad Governorate from department managers and employees, as a sample consisted of The research consists of (35) individuals. To achieve the purpose of this research, a questionnaire consisting of (22) items was A number of statistical methods were used in analyzing the data collected by means of the questionnaire, such as the arithmetic mean, standard deviation, and coefficient of variation of the searched variables and questions related to them, including inference such as Kolmogorov-Smirnov test, Mann-Whitney test, simple linear regression and Cronbach's alpha coefficient. The most prominent results of the research were the support of the top management for the concept of total quality management by developing the requirements for its application. The most prominent recommendations were to enhance the participation of employees and enable them to contribute to improving processes and quality, which is reflected positively and has an impact on its development.
