The Reality of The Applying of Excellence Management In King Fahd Medical City And Its Impact on Institutional Performance During The Pandemic Corona From The Viewpoint Of Its Staff -A Filed Study

The aim of the study to identify of management excellence in the King Fahd Medical City and its impact on organization performance during the pandemic Corona from the viewpoint of its staff, where the researcher relied on the quantitative method and the descriptive-analytical approach and the information has been collected from the sample of the study which represented by 213 by using the questionnaire, and the results have been analyzed by the statistical program SPSS.
After analyzing, the results were as follow: the King Fahd Medical City is practicing the management excellence at a high level, as it came after relationships and resources in the first rank, followed by operations management, while policies/strategies came in third place, and fourth after human resources management, and finally after leadership with innovation. It appears that the level of the performance of the King Fahd Medical City according to institutional performance indicators (the financial performance, patient satisfaction, social influence, growth and learning, and improving internal work procedures) was high, where the growth and learning indicator came at the first rank, followed by the patient satisfaction indicator, whereas the social influence came at the third place, while the financial performance came at the fourth level and finally the improving internal work indicator. There is a relation between the management excellence and the institutional performance in the King Fahd Medical City during the Corona pandemic. There are differences in the estimates between the members of the sample about the reality of the implementation of the management excellence in King Fahd Medical City and its impact on the institutional performance of the Corona pandemic attributed to educational qualification and functionally. There were no differences attributed to gender and years of experience.
As the previous results, the following recommendations can be provided: it’s important to the King Fahd Medical City to enhance the leading role of the managers and the participation of the employees in the planning processes and decision making.
