Abstract

This study aimed to identify the impact of organizational factors on organizational learning from the employees’ perspective in Alkarak directorates of education in Alkarak governorate (Jordan). The population of the study consisted of all employees in Alkarak directorates of education whom accounted for (232) employees. A convenient sample was selected including (155) employees. (150) questionnaires were returned and were valid for analysis. The study revealed the following results: The overall mean of participants’ perspective toward organizational learning (individual, group, and organizational) came at medium level. additionally, there was a significant statistical effect at the level of α≤ 0.05 for the dimensions of organizational factors (shared vision, the technical infrastructure, and the technical skills ) on organizational learning. In sight of the results, the study concluded with a group of recommendations. These include focusing on designing the tasks in a way that allows using groups and teams within directorates of education as the effective channel to exchange knowledge and experiences from the individual level into the group level which in turn achieves the continuous and purposeful organizational learning. The study calls also for more consideration of the creation and encouragement of organizational shared vision, technical skills and IT infrastructure. These three factors, as revealed in this study, can enhance organizational learning.
