The degree of female teachers practices creative thinking skills in English language for middle schools

Abstract

     The present study aimed at identifying the degree of female teachers ’practice of teaching creative thinking skills in the English language, The study sample consisted of all middle school English language teachers in the city of Riyadh in the second semester of the academic year 1441-1442 AH, and their number (719) teachers, and how to choose the method in a random way consisting of (251) creative thinking in teaching English for the intermediate stage.

     After collecting data, statistical treatments were performed using the statistical software package (SPSS), and the researcher reached the following results:

• The list of creative thinking skills that need to be developed in teaching English for the intermediate level consisted of three main skills, which are originality, and it includes (15) sub-skills, and the skill of fluency, and includes (11) sub-skills, and the skill of flexibility, and includes (12) skills Secondary
• The results showed that the female teachers from the study sample practice all creative thinking skills in teaching English for middle school in Riyadh region to a large degree, with a general arithmetic average of (2.47 out of 3.00), which is the average that falls in the third category of the triple scale categories from (2.34-3.00 ), And it was found that the choice of the degree of teacher practice of all creative thinking skills in teaching English for the middle stage indicates (to a large extent).

The results of the study showed that the degree of practicing fluency skills came first, with an average of approval (2.49 out of 3.00), followed by originality skills, with an average agreement of (2.48 out of 3.00), and flexibility skills came in third place with an average of (2.45 out of 3.00).
