The current study aimed to identify the effectiveness of micro-teaching as an instructional strategy in developing the teaching skills of students trained in the Practical Education Course (1) at Al-Quds Open University, and the descriptive analytical approach was used for its suitability for the purposes of the study, and the study was applied to (40) students from the education course Process (1) in each of the Salfit branch and the Dura-Hebron branch of Al-Quds Open University, where one division in each of the two branches was subjected to study, and each division consisted of (20) male and female students, and the study tool was applied to them, which is the monitoring list of effective teaching skills that the team worked on. Researchers are developing it. The results showed: The highest skills students acquired through training are: Preparing the lesson in advance, formulating its objectives, determining the appropriate time for each goal, investing the class time in full, preparing students for psychological preparation, preparing a blackboard, making a review of the previous material, using traditional educational methods, giving an introduction to the lesson and asking motivating questions. To think and pay attention to the human and emotional dimension in dealing with students, the sequence in the lesson steps, accept feedback from the supervisor and from colleagues, and the ability to self-assessment), and that the lowest of these skills are: (the use of modern technology and the participation of students in formulating goals, the use of educational games, and taking into account individual differences), The study came out with several recommendations that emerged from the results of the study, the most important of which were: The need to work to consolidate the low skills in their effectiveness among the trained students, using powerful means and strategies that help the proper development of these skills among the student teacher, after identifying the reasons for their low existence among the trainees.
