Psychological and occupational pressures among workers in special education institutions from the point of their appearance in the northern West Bank.

Abstract

This study aimed at identifying the psychological and professional stress among workers in special education institutions in the Northern West Bank. Also، it aims at identifying  the impact in the light of all of the variables (sex، educational qualification، years of experience، academic specialization) on the psychological and professional stress among workers in special education institutions in the Northern West Bank  To achieve the study purposes، a questionnaire consisting of  three domains of psychological،   professional and  social pressures has been used ، subjected to judgment ، distributed to  (70) individuals of the studyd sample who was chosen randomly ; gathered، codified، entered the computer and statistically processed by using the statistical package of social science (SPSS).  The study results a high degree of response on its main question which is what is the degree of the psychological، professional and social stress among workers in special education institutions in the Northern West Bank.  Also، they show that there are no statically significant differences at (α =0.05) level about the the degree of the psychological، professional and social stress among workers in special education institutions in the Northern West Bank attributed to the variables of sex، educational qualification، years of experience، academic specialization.  According to the study results، several recommendations have been suggested including the need to design and implement some preventive programs which help workers with special needs to achieve the best adjustment with the difficulties of working conditions، training sessions for professionals specialized supervisors to be able to provide the necessary pressure to address the psychological and professional work resulting from consulting and professional development among workers. Also، further studied are recommended.
