Electronic programs and their impact on children's behavior from a point of view of working mothers in Jerusalem

Abstract

This study aimed to recognize the effect of the electronic programs on children's behavior working mothers in Jerusalem. The descriptive analytical approach has been applied to collect and analyze the data. The researchers prepared a questionnaire including two parts: The positive effects of the electronic programs and the negative effects of the electronic programs. The questionnaire has been used to seek for the opinions of the sample consisting of 61 employed mothers during the second semester of the academic year 2021

The researcher has concluded that there are no differences between the responses of the sample towards using electronic programs and their effect on children referring to demographic variables (age, educational qualification, number of children, working hours).

The main recommendations of this research are: Providing entertaining aids that are suitable for children, choosing useful electronic programs which encourage children to be more creative, A specific time should be determined to play electronic programs and control the children's addiction to these programs and Overall studies on the negative and social effects of electronic programs on children have to be considered.
