The Effectiveness of an Integrated Selective Counseling Program in Developing Psychological Resilience among Al-Quds Open University Students

The study aimed to reveal the effectiveness of an integrated selective counseling program according to the "Thoren" theory in developing psychological resilience among students of Al-Quds Open University in Tulkarm. For this purpose, the semi-experimental approach was used. The study sample consisted of (40) students who have a low degree on the psychological resilience scale, they were randomly divided into two experimental groups, the first was an experimental program, and the second was a control, for which the program was not applied for comparison. The results of the study showed that there are statistically significant differences between the averages of the college scores on the psychological resilience scale for Al-Quds Open University students between the experimental and control groups in the pre and post measurements in favor of the experimental group as the value of the effect size of the program reached (0.941), and the results also showed a significant difference between the two tribal measurements and the post-testimonial grades of the members of the experimental group in favor of post-measurement, which indicates the effectiveness of the indicative program applied in improving the level of psychological resilience.
