The impact of development in local industries and logistics services in achieving the objectives of the National Industrial Development and Logistics Services Program within the programs of the Saudi Vision 2030

The study aimed to identify the impact of development in the local non-oil industries and logistics services in achieving the objectives of the National Industrial Development and Logistics Program within the Saudi Vision 2030 programs. , which includes the research on local industrial companies operating in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. As for the study sample, a stratified random sample of workers in industrial companies operating in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia was selected, whose number is (219) individuals.
The study reached a set of results:
- It was found that the level of dependence on quality improvement was at a high rate of 83.64%.
- It was found that the level of dependence on technology was at a high rate of 84.08%.
- It was found that the level of focus on supply chains and logistics services was at a high rate of 83.64%.
- It turns out that the level of application of human resources management is at a high rate of 76.38%.
- It turned out that the level of development of the private sector's contribution to the economy was high at 84.5%.
- It was found that the level of logistics services was at a high rate of 84.3%.
- There is a statistically significant relationship between the reality of development in the local non-oil industries and logistics services in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the level of achieving the objectives of the National Industrial Development and Logistics Program within the programs of Saudi Vision 2030.
- There is a statistically significant effect between the reality of development in the local non-oil industries and logistics services in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the level of achieving the objectives of the National Industrial Development and Logistics Program within the programs of Saudi Vision 2030.
The study made several recommendations, including:
- The necessity for non-oil industrial establishments in the Kingdom to provide products of a quality comparable to that of international products.
- Non-oil industrial establishments in the Kingdom must follow technological developments in the field of production
- The necessity for non-oil facilities in the Kingdom to be concerned with the efficiency and effectiveness of their logistics services
- The necessity for non-oil facilities in the Kingdom to pay attention to human competencies capable of continuous improvement in the facility
- Work systems, companies, and legislation should be developed to facilitate the access of non-oil local industries products to global markets.
