Abstract

This research investigated the text anxiety level in the math course among the secondary school students in Jordan in the light of the delivery of distance education during the Coronavirus crisis. A descriptive analytical approach was adopted.  The researcher reviewed the relevant literature and books to design a questionnaire. The questionnaire forms were passed online to 250 female and male students. They were passed in the light of the delivery of distance education during the Coronavirus crisis. The researcher chose those students purposively from the 11th grade in 5 public secondary schools in Amman. Through assessing the questionnaire by exerts, the validity of the questionnaire was checked. Through calculating Cronbach alpha value, the reliability of the questionnaire was checked. 232 forms were retrieved. They are valid for analysis. Response rate is 92.8%. Data was administered into SPSS program. The text anxiety level in the math course among the secondary school students in Jordan in the light of the delivery of distance education during the Coronavirus crisis is moderate. The degree to which students suffer from stress, headache, fatigue and difficulties in thinking well during the period preceding the math text is high.
