Abstract

The competencies that must be provided by private school teachers from the viewpoint of practical education students at An-Najah National University

This study aimed to identify the competencies that must be provided by private school teachers from the viewpoint of students of practical education at An-Najah National University. To achieve the goal of the study, a questionnaire consisting of (40) paragraphs was distributed, distributed in four fields and they were as follows (related competencies Personal characteristics of teachers in private schools, competencies related to skills and teaching methods for teachers in private schools, educational competencies for teachers in private schools, competencies related to electronic means for teachers in private schools, and each field contained (10) paragraphs, where the study tool was distributed to A sample was chosen in a simple random method consisting of (40) students and students, a questionnaire was distributed to them (32) questionnaires were valid for analysis and (8) questionnaires that did not meet the conditions of the correct response were excluded and their validity and reliability were confirmed by a committee of arbitrators with jurisdiction And after the process of distributing and collecting questionnaires, they were encoded and entered into the computer, and statistically processed using the statistical package of social sciences The study showed that there are statistically significant differences At the level of significance (= 0.05) in the competencies to be provided by private school teachers from the viewpoint of students of practical education at An-Najah National University due to the gender variable and in favor of males there are no statistically significant differences at the level of significance (= 0.05) in the competencies Availability of private school teachers from the viewpoint of practical education students at An-Najah National University due to the variable of specialization and based on the results of this study, the researchers recommended recommendations from the most important of them:

  • Providing incentives and improving salaries for private school teachers to provide students with a high morale.
  • The necessity of a private school teacher to link the subject of the lesson to the lives of students in the external environment.
